Hit and Run Alerts Could Be Sent to Phones

Lawmakers will discuss a new statewide push to crack down on hit-and-run drivers Wednesday. The measure would increase punishments for drivers who flee the scene and create an alert system to find then, similar to an Amber Alert. NBC 7’s Matt Rascon reports.
