Meth Use Once Again a Problem in San Diego County

As NBC 7’s Gaby Rodriguez reports, data suggests meth is once again a concerning problem for San Diego County. A local strike force dedicated to tackling the use of the illegal drug in our region finds that there were 10,000 meth-related emergency room visits in 2015. Half of those people arrested by local law enforcement test positive for the drug and one in four people in addiction and treatment centers are there for meth use.
