Flaming Tree in Lake Murray Contained Without Threatening Structures

 A flaming tree in Lake Murray was contained quickly without threatening structures, the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department (SDFD) said. 

The fire began at 10:51 p.m. at the intersection of Lake Adlon Drive and Lake Tahoe Avenue, fire officials said. 

Fire crews arrived and found the tree on fire, though they quickly contained the fire to the tree. No structures were threatened or damaged, though video from Chopper 7 showed the fire just feet away from a house. 

No further information was immediately available.
