Escondido Field Hospital Opens Additional 200+ Hospital Beds

NBC 7 has learned that the field hospital in Escondido has begun taking patients. The state run facility is part of an effort to help hospitals in San Diego county overrun because of COVID-19. NBC 7’s Bridget Naso takes a look at who and how many people are being cared for there.
