Driver Arrested in I-5 Crash Near Mission Bay

A driver was arrested early Friday, accused of driving under the influence and crashing into a vehicle traveling southbound on Interstate 5 near Mission Bay. California Highway Patrol responded to the crash on a frontage road just north of Clairemont Drive at 12:55 a.m. The wrecked vehicle ended up through a fence and into a light pole. No one was injured.
