Down to Earth: Joro Spider Explained

The Joro spider was first spotted in Georgia in 2013, recently this introduced spide, that’s as big as your hand, has rapidly spread across the eastern United States. There’s lots of misinformation circling about the Joro Spider, so NBC 7’s Dagmar Midcap asked South African entomologist Barbara Wright to separate fact from fiction when it comes to the Joro spider.
