Dolores Huerta Speaks at UCSD

 A celebration of culture and progress took place Thursday at UC San Diego as the university hosted Civil Rights Leader Dolores Huerta. She co-founded the National Farm Workers Association with Cesar Chavez in 1962.She also pushed for the California driver’s license exams to be offered in Spanish, along with other major legislative breakthroughs for the Latino community. At UCSD’s John Muir College, Huerta shared her passion and drive with a younger generation, to inspire them to get involved with the causes they care about.
