Deputies in Bonita arrested a man who allegedly attacked a teenage girl and tried to rape her.
The incident happened around 11 a.m. Monday on the 3200-block of Bonita Road.
The victim said the man attacked her and tried to pull her in some nearby bushes, according to investigators.
The victim managed to get away and flag down a passing motorist, according to deputies.
The suspect, 23-year-old Century Leo of El Cajon, was booked on a charge of assault with intent to rape.
