Cars ended up on top of each other and a trailer overturned in a crash on eastbound Interstate 8 Monday afternoon in La Mesa, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officials issued a Sig Alert for eastbound I-8 near Severin Drive after the collision just before 3 p.m.
No injuries have been reported in this pileup. Officials have not said how they believe one car got lodged on the roof of another.
All freeway lanes were reopened by 4:15 p.m.
