Burn Victim Completes Miracle Trip Home

Derek Thomas’s homecoming drew hundreds at the Scripps Encinitas Hospital on Tuesday afternoon. The 19-year-old was involved in a horrific head-on crash last August that killed three people in his car, including his girlfriend, Amanda Post.
