The City of San Diego has agreed to a settlement with one of the victims of Anthony Arevalos, the former San Diego traffic cop convicted of sexual battery, assault and asking for bribes.
Anthony Arevalos was sentenced to eight years and eight months in prison for preying on young, female drivers during traffic stops made in the Gaslamp Quarter from 2009 to 2011.
San Diego's city council will discuss the $675,000 settlement agreement in session Monday according to a spokesperson from the city attorney's office.
The settlement involves an incident that happened on October 22, 2010.
A woman identified in court documents as Melissa W. claimed that during a suspected DUI stop, Arevalos asked her about her private body parts, touched her breasts and put his hand down her pants.
She testified that after she flashed him, Arevalos put his hand in her pants and moved his hand from front to back.
Two other cases to be discussed Tuesday at the city council could also lead to settlements. They involve Marjan Montazemi and a woman described as Danielle F. in court documents.
In addition, City of San Diego documents reveal that at least four other women, who claim Arevalos violated their civil rights, are suing the city.
Jurors found Arevalos guilty on 8 of 21 original counts.

In an incident in Sept. 2009, one victim said when she was pulled over by Arevalos he insisted on "favors" for letting her go without a citation. Another was told she could avoid DUI charges if she pulled down the top of her dress in January 2010.
