San Diego County Sheriff's Deputies are offering a $1000 reward for any information leading to an arrest in a hit-and-run case in San Marcos.
Deputies are searching for the driver who struck and injured a 65-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man walking in the parking lot outside the Home Depot on San Marcos Boulevard around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
San Marcos Paramedics treated both victims at the scene.
The man had minor cuts and pain in his legs. The woman suffered severe head trauma with bleeding on the brain, bilateral pelvic fractures and cuts to her upper torso. She was admitted to Palomar Medical Center for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The San Marcos Traffic Division is conducting the investigation.
Deputies released information on the suspect vehicle Tuesday. It's described to be a older model of a white Ford Explorer and may have possible damage to one or both of the front headlight assemblies.
The vehicle was last seen leaving in an unknown direction on West San Marcos Boulevard.

The suspect was described to be a man in his late 20s with light colored hair. He was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt, according to deputies.
