Swine Flu Claims 10th Victim in San Diego

Victim was from Georgia

A 46-year-old Georgia woman visiting the San Diego area has died from the swine flu, according to health authorities.

The woman is the 10th person to die of swine flu in the county, but her death will be added to Georgia's tally and not San Diego's, according to
County Health and Human Services Agency spokesman Jose Alvarez. He said  officials don't believe the woman, who had an underlying health condition, contracted the virus in San Diego.

On Tuesday, health officials in Hawaii announced that  69 military members of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group, which is based in San Diego, had been confirmed for the flu.
