What a phenomenal weekend! There was so much music around town that, if you're like me, you're a little more exhausted than you should be after a weekend. That doesn't mean there's any slowing down, though. Casbah hosts an all-local Anti-Monday League while Soda Bar offers up a gauzy night of chillwave with oOoOO. Be sure to get there early to see Kynan (which is Joel Williams, formerly of d/Wolves), though rumor has it that band is reforming with all original members under a new name. Personally, I'll probably bounce between Soda Bar and the Void, because I'm interested in checking out Speak, an indie-folk band that comes highly recommended by a good friend who knows exactly what I like. I know Mondays can be a bummer, but these lineups prove that doesn't have to always be the case.
