San Diego Lifeguards rescued a Green Sea Turtle with a hook caught in its throat Thursday evening at the Ocean Beach Pier.
Lifeguards loaded the 70-pound turtle into a boat and transported it to SeaWorld San Diego, where staff immediately began doing tests.
Hours later a SeaWorld spokesperson said the turtle was in stable condition.
No other information was available.
