Salute – New Jersey National Guard's Military Police

This morning we salute the New Jersey National Guard’s 508th Military Police Company. They conduct daily transportation missions in the crowded streets of Kabul, Afghanistan. Whether it’s fellow military personnel or civilian contractors, their job is to make sure their passengers get to where they need to go safely. They jokingly refer to themselves as “combat taxi drivers” but they know once they get on the road, it’s serious business.
