Morning Salute – Captain Will Pennington

Last week Captain Pennington relieved Captain Daniel Greico to assume command of USS Blue Ridge. In his former assignment, Captain Pennington was the Executive Officer of the Aircraft Carrier George H.W. Bush. USS Blue Ridge serves as the command and control ship for the U.S. 7th Fleet Area of Responsibility. During the change of command ceremony, Captain Pennington gave a customary speech to the officers, sailors and Marines who now fall under his command.
