FBI Needs Help Finding a Female Bank Robber

Woman holds up a Vista bank

The FBI is asking for the public's help to find a woman who robbed a bank in Vista.

The woman walked into a US Bank on Vista Village Drive in Vista on Saturday, August 14, around 11:50 a.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money, according to FBI officials.

The woman told the teller she had a partner who was watching them and that her accomplice would shoot the teller if she didn't comply, the FBI said.

Agents say after the teller handed over the money, the robber fled the bank on foot.

Agents describe the woman as a white female in her mid 20's to early 30's, 5'6" to 5'7" tall, weighing about 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, a red and white plaid long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, gloves and dark sunglasses. She was also carrying a large dark purse or shoulder bag.

Anyone with information regarding this robbery should contact the FBI at (858) 565-1255 or CrimeStoppers at (888) 580-8477.
