US-Mexico border crossings dropped in January, CBP says

There were 61,000 encounters at the southwest border in January, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s latest monthly figures. That’s down 36% from December and 65% from January of last year. NBC 7’s Shelby Bremer reports.
