San Diego Chef Shariff Herndon on ‘Food Fighters'

San Diego chef Shariff Herndon stopped by the NBC 7 studios to talk about his time on NBC’s ‘Food Fighters.’ Here’s his recipe for simmered kale with smoked pork neck bones, a Paleo comfort food. -4 cups of Kale -2 cups of chicken broth -1 white onion chopped -1/2 cup of chopped celery -Salt and pepper to taste -A bay leaf -Parsley -1 tsp of rice wine vinegar . -1 package of smoked pork neck bones . -2 cups of filtered water . Place all ingredients in the pot bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for two hours or all day in a crock pot.
