An upper-level low passing by to our north is bringing chances of light rain today. We've already received some rain in the overnight hours, but amounts are light and close to 0.01'' for areas of north downtown.
Overall, from this system, rainfall accumulations will be on the lower end from 0.01''-0.20'' west of the mountains. The highest rain chances will be between noon and 5 p.m., and it's possible the mountain areas could even receive a dusting of snow through Sunday morning.
It's also possible that not everyone across the coast, valley, and mountain communities will see rain. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms, and if we do see a stray thunderstorm, those areas would have higher totals. The weekend will be cool, but it will not be a washout.
