We’ll see very little change in our weather over the next few days. Expect morning clouds along the coast, and then gradual clearing each day. The marine layer will deepen a bit over the next few days pushing the overnight clouds farther inland by later in the week, but that’s about as much variety as we’ll see. Temperatures will only vary by a degree or two each day.
We’ve had above normal surf the past few days. The waves will begin to back off later tomorrow, but a larger swell is expected this weekend. A spring swell will bring waves of 6 to 10 feet by Sunday, with a few beaches seeing sets bigger than that.

And we’ll see bigger changes for the weekend as well. Another deep trough of low pressure moves in bringing much cooler temps, gusty winds for the mtns/deserts, and chances for light rain. As of right now, it looks like Saturday evening through Sunday will be the best chance for showers. There’s not a lot of moisture with this system, but light showers are certainly possible.
Next week is looking drier and warmer.
