Flash Flood, Thunderstorm Warnings Have Expired

A flash flood warning issued for North County expired as of 4:30 p.m. Thursday

The areas that may have experienced flooding include Julian, Borrego Springs, Warner Springs, Lake Cuyamaca, Ranchita, Hwy S22 Between Ranchita And Borrego Springs, Hwy 79 Between Julian And Lake Cuyamaca, Borrego Palm Canyon, Hwy 79 Between Santa Ysabel And Warner Springs, Banner, Shelter Valley, Los Coyotes Indian Reservation and Santa Ysabel Indian Reservation, according to the NWS.

There was also a severe thunderstorm warning issued at 1:53 p.m. until 3 p.m. with 70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail possible, according to the NWS.
