A Great Weekend to Hit the Slippery Slope

Storms improve ski and snowboarding

What has been a miserable "snow season" so far just got better.  Monday's big storm dumped up to 2-feet of fresh powder at both Wrightwood and Big Bear.  The areas got a little more snow overnight and today are fully operational and reporting good coverage and great conditions.

The good news doesn't end there.  The local mountains are expected to pick up even more snow on Wednesday as another major storm rolls into Southern California and yet another big snow-maker is poised to move down the state over the weekend and hit the southland around Tuesday, just a couple of days before Christmas.  About the only down side to all this is that all that new snow may make getting to your favorite resort a little tougher.
