The two-year old Los Angeles-based site is the brainchild of actress Meghan Perry, who had some of her own unwanted jewelry to unload. She figured there had to be a better way to get rid of the shiny stuff than a pawn shop.
The site features loads of items for sale, including engagement rings, Rolexes, bracelets and things in a category appropriately called "gifts that should have been jewelry."
One requirement of the site: each item for sale must include a backstory. Half the fun is just browsing through the listings to read how the items made it online.
