Restaurant Week Releases Lineup

Hoping to try some new eateries? Restaurant Week can help.

San Diego Restaurant Week released its full lineup for the foodie event this fall.

More than 180 eateries are on the list this year, featuring lunch and dinner menus. The concept is simple: Multiple restaurants have a set-priced menu for a week so locals can experience some of the best America's Finest City has to offer.

Arguably one of the greatest aspects of Restaurant Week is the price. Diners can sample three-course meals for as little as $10. Fancier establishments even cut costs -- such as the swanky Bertrand at Mr. A's featuring a $40 dinner.

This year, a tasting is kicking off the event -- consider it the Olympics for foodies. On Friday, Sept. 14 at Broadway Pier roughly 40 of the participants will be dishing out samples of their fare, paired with a unique beverage. Tickets are $75 and a portion of the proceeds benefits charity.

San Diego Restaurant Week runs from Sept. 16-21. Here are a few places participating:

  • BICE
  • Whisknladle
  • Marina Kitchen
  • Grant Grill
  • The Marine Room
  • CUCINA Urbana
  • Truluck's Seafood, Steak & Crab

For a full list of vendors, check out the San Diego Restaurant Week website. And tell us in the comments below, which restaurant(s) will you try this year?
