The San Diego Botanic Garden is hosting a seriously sweet event on May 12: Their famous Chocolate Festival.
Chocolate-lovers can indulge from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. by enjoying dozens of delectable chocolate tastings, demonstrations and a flowing chocolate fountain.
The festival is free with paid admission into the Botanic Garden. Ticket to the chocolate tasting can be purchased on site.
Demonstrations at the event will include a one-hour lesson in making a flourless chocolate almond tart, taught by Chef Elizabeth Podsiadlo.

Finally, a quirky “Desserts on the Grill” demo hosted by Chef Nikki Schaeffer will showcase how to make decadent desserts on a grill, from grilled pound cake to bananas foster.
