Discover the food of Little Italy when the restaurants open their doors for the “Taste of Italy” event Wednesday, Nov. 5.
If you remember a similar event this spring, you’re not lmistaken. The Little Italy Association was so excited about the success of its first Taste of Italy that it added another one to take place in the fall.
Appetizers, desserts and espresso drinks will be available along the districts streets from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 day of and can be purchased at 734 W. Beech St. Ste 100, San Diego, CA 92101 or by phone: (619) 615-1093. You’ll receive a passport that will be stamped by each restaurant in exchange for a taste of something from their menu.
Participating restaurants include Anthology, Buon Appetito, Caffe Italia, Cefalu's Pizza, Filippi's Pizza Grotto, Illume Bistro, Indigo Grill, Just Burgers and Lounge, Mimmo's Italian Village, Pappalecco, Petrini's, Rice at the W San Diego Hotel and Zagarella Italian Restaurant.
Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Little Italy Association, which is dedicated to the ongoing improvement and enhancement of the Little Italy neighborhood.
