The Chula Vista Nature Center is hosting “Where the Wild Things Are: Food & Wine Classic” on Saturday, a fundraiser to benefit the center.
The event takes place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 1000 Gunpowder Point Drive and will highlight the local wine and culinary industry.
World-class wineries, restaurants and vendors will provide tasty libations while guests wine, dine and enjoy up-close interactions with wildlife at the Nature Center.
The food and wine mixer will also feature live and silent auctions, live music by local artists and celebrity chef demonstrations from the best in the biz, including San Diego chefs Jeff Roberto from Sushi on a Roll, Lance Repp from La Valencia and Karl Klein from the Olympic Training Center.
Tickets to the fundraiser are $75 for non-members and $65 for members of the Chula Vista Nature Center.
