Economic times are tough, but teens still want their high school formals to be magical. On Saturday, the El Cajon Library will host a gown giveaway, “Primp Your Prom”, for local teens.
They are currently accepting donations of new and gently used formal gowns, shoes, and accessories. The giveaway will take place from 1p.m. to 4p.m.
Local students, grades 9 through 12, can sign up to be recipients by calling (619) 588 3718 or by visiting the library.
Attendees will also be entered in a raffle to win gift certificates for local salons, restaurants, and other prom-related services. Free makeovers will also be provided from JE Boutique: College of Beauty of El Cajon.
