SALVADOR BOUND: Stop in for a taste of Baja at Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill and raise money to send Foothills College Ministry to El Salvador Missions Trip. Whether you eat there, take food to go, or pick up a Rubio’s a Go-GO catering order, 20% of your transaction will go to the cause. The sole participating Rubio’s is in Parkway Plaza in El Cajon from open-close.
NOGGIN CRUNCHER: Start pulling out those random facts out of the dusty files in your brain, you’re going to need them for tonight’s trivia night at South Park Abbey (previously known as South Park Bar and Grill). Get a team of five together, $2 a head, and compete to take the cash. There will be prizes for the runner-ups as well. Gastro-pub grub dishes and beer will also be served. 7 p.m.
SOUND WAVES: Listen to locals tonight at the Local Showcase at Sound Wave. Featured artists include Ablaze, Revival, and Anson—all locally bred artists. Tickets are free online or $5 at the door. Ages 21 & up only. 8 p.m.
