Humans, beware: Zombies will be taking over the streets of Old Town this weekend.
The first annual Zombie Walk gives San Diegans a place to embrace their inner undead. The free event asks people to don their best zombie attire before walking by the Whaley House, one of San Diego’s most haunted properties.
All zombies will meet at 5:15 p.m. on Oct. 29 at the El Campo Santo Cemetery on San Diego Avenue. Attendees will begin the walk through Old Town at 6:06 p.m. when the sun sets.
Costumes are encouraged, but not mandatory at this family event.
