Partygoers at Side Bar let it all hang out on Thursday.
Guests were swaying to a mix of DJ beats and percussion sounds as DJ Theron spun in SB's infamous bird cage and kept San Diego’s finest crowd of twenty- and thirtysomething’s dancing all night long.
Serving as both a lounge and a nightclub, Side Bar provided San Diego with its first New York style hangout. With a mismatched array of velvet burgundy couches set beneath black crystal chandeliers and a cluster of 30 maroon birdcages dangling from the lofted ceiling, Side Bar makes for a great downtown outing.
During the night, Chuck Prada played percussion to mix up the scene a bit. Prada is a San Diego native who also doubles as a producer in the Los Angeles area and has toured and recorded with artists such as Dr. Dre, the Black Eyed Peas, Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado.
