Starting up a business is complicated enough on its own, but try adding a significant other into the mix.
A panel of local business women will be sharing their insights on “co-preneurship” at Cozymel’s Mexican Grill in UTC on Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The panel will be assembled by Ladies who Launch, whose mission according to the company’s Web site, is to make entrepreneurship accessible to any woman with a project, dream or aspiration.
“While countless husband-wife partnerships are successful--and fulfilling--they can also create added pressure in your personal and professional lives,” the Web site states.
The panel will be made up of four women who have successfully navigated the unique challenges of starting a business with the one you love. Jennifer Finch of Firehouse Brewing Company, Renata Carlseen with European Lingerie & Swimwear, Michelle Bartok with Innovative Body Science and Kim Horner with C & H Gardens will make up the panel of "co-preneurs". The event will also provide tools for women to get organized and inspired to take their ideas to the next level.
Tickets are $35 and can be purchased online.
