North Park’s new True North bar may not be a true North Park dive, but it is worth your time, reports San Diego CityBeat.
Owned by the same guys who can claim Tavern on the Beach, in Pacific Beach, True North on 30th Street has a lot to offer for someone who wants a chill night out. Cozy booths outline the joint, while a warm bar resides in the middle. Flat-screens sit above the bar, playing music videos and sports, and, of course, there's a pool table.
For those who like a little music, DJs play throughout the week, and True North also has music genre nights. Monday is '80s night, Thursday is Old Skool Hip-Hop night, and Sunday is Industry night.
