It's here -- Jason Mraz's much anticipated hometown concert is happening Sunday night.

Mraz will be taking the stage at Cricket Wireless Amphitheater along with Brett Dennen and Bushwalla.  This concert was designed as Mraz's way of saying "thank you" to his hometown fans.

The show starts at 6:00 p.m and doors open at 5:00 p.m.

When heading down to the concert, come early; Concert-organizers say that traffic on all southbound freeways towards the concert will be heavy. Parking lots open at 3:30 p.m. Going with a group? Drive together. Carpools of three or more park for free, just look for the carpool lot signs.

For those wondering what to do before the concert, tailgates are permitted. Tailgates must be confined to the car’s parking space. Food may be consumed, but leave the booze at home -- there is a no alcohol ordinance enforced by the Chula Vista Police Department in all Cricket Wireless Amphitheater parking lots. No open containers of alcohol are permitted.

After the concert, have some fun at the after party. The fun takes place at the House of Blues Delta Room with the Grooveline Horns. The Grooveline Horns are currently on tour with Jason Mraz.  The party begins at 10:30 p.m and doors open at 10:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 but here’s the catch -- you can only snag tickets by picking them up at the concert or at the door.
