Want to see some of San Diego’s best journalists ice skate? Then go to the Hotel Del Coronado rink on Wednesday to see NBC 7 reporter Lea Sutton and anchor Christine Haas on the ice to raise money for charity.
Haas and Sutton will compete in the “So You Wish You Could Skate” contest for the Make a Wish Foundation. They will be joined by other local celebrities for the special holiday event. The event goal is to raise awareness for the “Season of Wishes” campaign, which encourages the spread of hope and joy this season.
The competition goes from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at the Hotel Del Coronado’s Ice Rink. It is free to watch the event, and Make A Wish families are invited to ice skate with their families following the competition.
