Happy Days at the Old Globe Theatre

Old Globe Theatre celebrates 75th anniversary with celebrity Marion Ross

There will be happy days at the Old Globe Theatre as it celebrates its 75th anniversary of rich history of theater in San Diego.

Actress Marion Ross, who played Marion Cunningham on the 1970's tv show "Happy Days", will be presiding over the Open House as Queen Elizabeth. Susan DeVicente of KYXY 96.5 will also be on hand for the celebration.

The celebration will take place on Sunday, June 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free to the public.

There will be performances of every kind from the Elizabethan age, including sword fighting demonstartions, scenes from the Globe's Shakespeare Festival plays, contortionists, and jugglers. Backstage tours will be given as well.

Parking is limited, so arrive early.
