For the third year, chasers will race around San Diego and scramble to complete tasks in the competition known as CityChase.
Now, you and a teammate can win registration in an NBCSanDiego contest.
The race returns to America’s Finest City on June 19 with its series of challenges referred to as ChasePoints. Teams are required to perform a number of activities from bowling naked to singing badly in front of a crowd to eating raw fish or answering Mensa puzzles.
There is no set route or course. Teams can pick which event they want to compete in and then the first team to cross the finish line with a valid passport containing 10 official ChasePoint stamps is the winner.
In 2009, NBCSanDiego hosted a ChasePoint outside the building downtown at 3rd and Broadway. Dozens of teams stopped and completed the photo challenge – taking images with their team, other teams, passersby, etc.
NBCSanDiego and CityChase are giving away free registration and race kit for a team of two along with two racing shorts, two pairs of racing shows and two hats provided by CityChase and Merrell.
To find more information, like what you’ll need to bring to help you along the race, go to the CityChase website.
