SoundDiego LIVE's location has finally been revealed: Fans of free music and beer will want to head over to Bar Pink at 6 p.m. on Friday for the two hour bash.
North Park Music Thing (NPMT) is an annual two-day music event and media conference on Aug. 13-14 at the historic Lafayette Hotel in North Park.
Attendees of the conference learn about the music industry with the help of panel discussions, workshops, demo review sessions and featured speakers. Following the daytime conference, "NPMT will showcase over 100 musical acts from the southwestern United States on 14 stages in San Diego," according to conference organizers.
Entice, an Orange County-based four-piece known for its passionate, hook-laden alt-rock, are strangers to the San Diego music scene -- in fact, winning the $10,000 Musicpalooza grand prize at the Del Mar Fair was their first appearance in San Diego. As bona-fide fans of the project, we are excited to have them at our showcase. Joining Entice will be San Diego's premiere genre-bending funk and jazz band, Bedford Grove. Supporting their funkalicious debut, Welcome to Our Side of Town, the Grove delivers a bombastic, positive, high-energy show fronted by Marc Gould and backed by dirty brass and a visually stunning/lovely sounding female vocalist.
So, want to attend the SoundDiego LIVE NPMT happy hour showcase with FREE beer? Attendees of North Park Music Thing will be supplied with a laminate for the showcase, and we will have a special guest list for members of the SoundDiego community.
