Bike Show Cruises into Town

Bicycle enthusiasts, this event is for you.

The second annual San Diego Custom Bicycle Show will be held April 9-11.

According to the event website, the show was originally conceived as a way to showcase the work of smaller, independent builders.  Since then, the show has grown to include slightly larger companies.

Don't worry though -- authenticity is guaranteed, as each bicycle frame is still custom made for each buyer.

Aside from frames, event goers can also check out custom bicycles, bicycle components, apparel and bicycle accessories from all over the United States.

Exhibitors featured at this year's show include Brian Baylis, Victoria Cycles and Ruegamer Sports, and many others.

The show takes place in the Town and Country Resort and Convention Center in the Golden Pacific Ballroom. Admission begins at $15 and multi-day passes are available.

Event organizers recommend that daily visitors access the show from Fashion Valley Road and park on the north of the Golden Pacific Ballroom.  Ride on over if you can -- free bike valet is provided.
