Tis the season for crafting.
Knitters of all levels are welcomed to the gathering in Balboa Park, where experts will teach knitting and crochet techniques. It’s a trendy new hobby and could result in great DIY holiday presents.
The special gathering is held at the Balboa Park Activity Center on 2145 Park Blvd. every Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
Participants must bring their own yarn, needle and hook, which can be purchased at any craft-supply store.
