Celebrate the most iconic music festival of all time by bringing your pooch to Woofstock (that's Woodstock with an f) to Balboa Park Saturday.
From poodles to pugs, Labs to Goldens, dogs and people are invited to Woofstock to rock to 60's music and reminisce or groove to the sounds of the Woodstock Festival at Yasgur's Farm in 1969.
Forty years ago hippies flocked to what was described as an aquarian exposition that has never been duplicated since.
"Last year I went to Woofstock and it was so much fun. Great dogs and people everywhere," wrote John on Yelp.com.
60's tunes will be provided by 105.7FM's "The Walrus"!
The Woofstock Festival features flyball, disc dogs, a K9 playground, great shopping, food and more.
And remember Timmy? Yup, Lassie's TV show owner will make a special appearance.
All proceeds from will benefit Canine Companions for Independence, which provides assitance dogs to people with disabilities completely free of charge.
