It is Beaujolais Thursday, and there are places in San Diego to enjoy the French custom.
Beaujolais is a light, fruity and heavily marketed wine that's a big seller around the world. It is produced from the gamay grape grown in the Beaujolais region of France.
The most popular "Vin de Primeur" is fermented for just a few weeks. It is officially released for sale on the 3rd Thursday in November.
This year's crop is the smallest since 1975.
