The Lonesome West

There’s nothing lonesome about this Triad’s production theatre event that will have you hopelessly entertained along with the rest of the audience.

The hilarious play is set in the sleepy village of Leenane, Ireland. After three murders and a suicide, this small village is anything but tranquil as local actors Ryan R and Bobby Schiefer play Coleman and Valene Connor, who’s life-long hatred and spite has brought the two to their final battle.

The second 2009 production of Martin McDonagh is said to be reaching a new generation of theatre-goers, according to yelp.com.

“The Lonesome West” opens Saturday at 8 p.m. and is playing at the 10th Avenue Theatre in downtown San Diego. The show will run Thursday-Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 5:00 p.m. through July 6th.

It pays off to go to college since tickets are only $10 for students or military instead of the $15 general admission.
