“The Glass Menagerie”

Lamb's Players Theatre in Coronado continues its season with an unforgettable classic, "The Glass Menagerie", one of the great American plays written by famed playwright Tennessee Williams.

This poetic story is actually a portrayal that takes from Williams' own family life etched by a striking portrait of four characters: Tom Wingfield, his vivacious mother Amanda, his shy sister Laura who spends hours wrapped up in the world of her fragile glass animal collection, and the charming "Gentleman Caller" who just might make all their fortunes.

The play will continue though May 24 and shows Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursday sat 7:30 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 4 & 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.

"The Glass Menagerie" is directed by Producing Artistic Director Robert Smyth and the cast includes: Sean Cox as "Tom Wingfield", Sarah Zimmerman as "Laura Wingfield", Jason Heil as "Jim O'Connor" and two-time San Diego Theatre Critics Circle award winner Deborah Gilmour Smyth as "Amanda Wingfield".

Lamb's Players Theatre is located at 1142 Orange Ave in Coronado. To learn more about this and other plays, or to purchase tickets visit their website, Lambsplayers.org or call (619) 437-0600.
