May the force be with you at Legoland! If you're a Star Wars fan, LegoLand is the place to be this weekend. Dust off your light sabers, dress up as your favorite Star Wars character and join the 501 Legion of stormtroopers as they invade Legoland June 13-14.
"If you're a Star Wars fan, this is the ultimate day to come out," said LegoLand spokeswoman Julie Estrada. "The kids are going to love it and the adults too. It's something you can experience together because Star Wars is a generation thing."
The two-day interactive, fun family event returns for its fifth year and has some new features this year inclucing XBox 360 gaming, costume contests every day at 4 p.m. and a visit from Darth Vader himself. You can also participate in a Droid Hunt, Jedi trivia competitions, building activities and scavenger hunts. Winners of the costume contest will receive more than $500 in prizes, including Lego Star Wars toys, collectible gear and tickets.
