Children played in the snow Sunday -- in Santee.
Santa was also on hand for sledding and s'mores around the fire during annual Santa at the Lakes at Padre Dam's Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve. Also at the event, pony rides, a petting zoo, hay rides, holiday art activities, carnival rides, inflatables and a fire ring.
The Bayou Brothers provided live holiday music from 12 pm. - 3 p.m.
