An all-day movie fest is planned for best picture nominees

If you want to see all the best picture nominees before the Academy Awards, plan on having your seat in a seat February 21st when The AMC Best Picture Showcase takes place in Mission Valley.

The first movie, "Milk," starts off at 9:45 a.m. Then, you'll see "The Reader" at 1:05 p.m., "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" at 3:45 p.m., "Slumdog Millionaire" at 7:15 p.m. and then "Frost/Nixon" at 9:45 p.m.

Tickets are available now online and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. You'll receive an All-Day Pass for $30 along with a large-sized popcorn with unlimited refills for that day.

Theaters all over the country are participating. Here in San Diego, you can take part at the AMC Mission Valley 20.
