Dig out your sweaters, hats and gloves and make your way up to Julian for its annual Country Christmas celebration!
At over 4500 feet elevation, Julian is one of the few places in San Diego County where “it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas” and the local weather forecast predicts snow this week in the mountains!
Indulge in hot cider or hot chocolate, sing Christmas carols with costumed holiday carolers. Cuddle under a blanket while riding down Main Street in a horse drawn carriage, take in a performance in historic Town Hall of “A Christmas Carol”, stay in a cozy bed and breakfast that’s all decked out in holiday finery or bundle up and take a stroll down a quiet country lane.
The Pine Hills Lodge is hosting its annual Breakfast with Santa on Sunday, December 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Santa will be on hand for photos and visits with the children, along with Miss Julian and her court from 9 a.m. to 1p.m. Tickets for the brunch are $15.95 for adults and $10.95 for children under 10.
